Printed trail maps are available at the Durango Nordic Center or you can download our trail map for mobile use. To download our trail map to your device so you can navigate your way through our trail system, first visit your phone or tablet’s app store and install the free Avenza maps app. Then, download the Durango Nordic Trail Map by clicking below. Finally, open our trail map in the Avenza app and ski or snowshoe with wayfinding at your fingertips.

Grooming perfect corduroy is a complex art and science that is influenced by many factors, including temperature variations, wind, snow type, sun/shade exposure, frequency and amount of snowfall, type of grooming machine and the attached implements, time of day grooming occurs, speed of the machine, experience of the groomers and more. When Durango Nordic’s groomers work on the trails they consider all of these factors.

The Durango Nordic Trail Map project was made possible thanks to the generosity of Kevin Skelly/KM Skelly Custom Builders, with additional support from Todd Wells at Sinberg Capital Lending. Map creator, Anna Riling of Four Corners Mapping & GIS, was awarded first place in the 2026 GIS Colorado Mapping Contest for the Pro Cartography category.
