There is nothing like a Full Moon Howler to make winter evenings something to look forward to!
Experience the alpine glow of the Twilight Peaks and the rise of the full moon as you sip a warm beverage by the bonfire or go for an evening ski or snowshoe. This is an event for the whole family.
The San Juan Mountains Association will be leading 60-90 minute guided snowshoe hikes at each of our Howlers. Hikes leave just after 6 pm from the Nordic Center and heads to an incredible viewpoint looking out at the Twilight Peaks. Howlers will learn all about the winter wildland of the Nordic Center and this area on the educational hike with SJMA.
