The Animas Mountain Mug Run provides a tough 6.6 mile course, 4.5 mile short course and a one mile kids course to run, walk, or hike. Casual walkers and serious runners alike will enjoy the scenic course and the post-race excitement! The first 100 participants to register will receive a unique race mug created especially for this race. This year the event is hosted by Durango Nordic Ski Club (www.durangonordic.org), a junior cross country nordic ski club. The race proceeds will benefit the Durango Nordic Ski Club in their effort to keep the youth of Durango active. Early registraion ($30) can be done on Active.com, late registration on the day of the race ($40). If you have any question, please email Josh Dalley.

Durango Nordic Ski Club
The Durango Nordic Ski Club (DNSC) is a racing program for junior cross country skiers ages six through 19 years old. DNSC embraces skiers of all abilities, from those interested in recreational pursuits to racers aspiring for Junior World Cup racing or the Winter Olympics. DNSC provides both classic and skate skiing technique as part of our mission to introduce Durango youth to the healthy, active outdoor lifestyle of Nordic skiing.
The mission of DNSC is to help young athletes achieve great things as individuals and as competitors by providing financial, developmental, and organizational support to the athletes and their coaches. DNSC provides year round opportunities and support to develop and build individuals into respectful, ethical, and disciplined athletes. DNSC provides the opportunity to compete at the local, regional, national, and international levels.
