We received TWO FEET of snow from this storm!
The groomers have been out driving in circles all night long to manage the snow from this storm. They track packed and then dropped the tiller and managed to groom the trails overnight. We have a Rocky Mountain Nordic JNQ race this weekend at the Center and the race course is groomed but it will be pretty soft out there today. The sun is out right now and temperatures are hovering just above freezing right now so further grooming is on hold right now.
More snow is forecast tonight into tomorrow morning and low overnight temperatures should get the race course and trails set up nicely for tomorrow’s first race of the Durango JNQ. Come on up and support your local club - Trails are open while the event is taking place.
