U12 - U14 Summer Training Program


Durango Nordic Ski Club’s Summer training program will begin on June 6th, the Wednesday after school gets out, and will end at the end of October. The program is meant to assure your athletes maintain fitness throughout the Summer months and enter the Winter in competition shape.

Summer training is targeted to the middle and high school age groups and includes running, hiking, ski bounding, roller skiing and for the older athletes, a strength program. During the summer program we will periodically hold testing weeks so we can gauge athletes fitness. The Summer strength training (U16 and up) will be held at the Durango Rec Center.

Monday – AM 7:00-9:00

Tuesday – Off

Wednesday – Off

Thursday – AM 7:00-9:00

Friday – Off

Saturday – AM 7:00-9:30

Sunday – OFF
