Fort Lewis College is partnering with Durango Nordic as the sponsor of our Junior Nationals Qualifier (JNQ) on February 16 - 17. Athletes ages 6 to 19 from across the State of Colorado will come to Durango to compete in this 2 day event. Durango hosts one of four Rocky Mountain Nordic JNQs for the 2018-2019 race season. 

Fort Lewis College will be generously hosting events at the college for coaches, parents and athletes over the weekend. Additionally, the College will be at the event supporting the athletes and providing information about the college to participants. Durango Nordic is honored to have such an outstanding partner for hosting this premier event. 

JNQs are a program of Rocky Mountain Nordic, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to the development of Cross-Country Skiing in Colorado. Rocky Mountain Nordic has a strong youth program encompassing over 350 young skiers and over 15 different clubs across the state. The vision of Rocky Mountain Nordic is to advance the sport of cross country skiing in the Rocky Mountain Region as a healthy lifestyle choice for people of all ability levels while developing and supporting internationally successful athletes.
