The Nordic Center at Purgatory
The Nordic Center at Purgatory is open every day from 9am to 4pm. We have 20km of ski trails groomed every day for both classic and skate skiing. We also have separate snowshoe trails. We are located across the highway from Durango Mountain Resort, about a third of a mile to the north. We have equipment rentals available on site for classic skiing, skate skiing and snowshoeing for both kids and adults. We offer group classic ski lessons every day at 10.30am or 1.30pm, and private lessons at noon. Our terrain is stunningly beautiful and we have a number of picnic tables out on our trails for your enjoyment.
